ALUMINIUM CONNECTING RODS AVAILABLE

As with our 3.2L kits, the drag 3.4L kits build on the steel rod versions and are specifically designed for the purpose of drag racing and other high horsepower applications.

The kit includes custom Nitto/CP pistons, available in a large variety of bore sizes, are cut from CP’s Turbo HD forging in low silicon content 2618 material. The pistons are equipped with our custom crown specifications, PVD ring sets, full round skirt design, accumulator grooves and horizontal gas ports.

The connection between the crankshaft and the piston is made possible by the aluminium Nitto/Carrillo connecting rod. These connecting rods are specifically designed for applications well in excess of 3000hp and for drag racing purposes. We have combined with our friends at Carrillo to deliver you this state of the art piece that has been responsible for holding multiple world records.

Completing the kit is the tested and proven 90mm/94mm stroke EN40B 3.2L crankshaft. The crankshafts have been purposely designed with strength and high power applications in mind. The crankshafts are an immaculate piece with precision manufactured knife edging to reduce weight and cut through crank case oil mist with ease. This enables the crankshaft to rev freely and easily.

For drag racing applications, we highly recommend the use of Trend TP-1 pins or an equivalent gudgeon pin.
