The bearing tangs and oil squirter hole should always face the major thrust side of the engine. This is the left hand side (as you face the front of the engine) for any clockwise rotating engine.
Always ensure the thin plate is put on the crankshaft first with the Nitto logo facing outwards and the small "step" on the oil pump side. Next comes the crank gear and then finally the thick, outer plate.
When using our billet washers and cambelt gear, you will need to machine 2.5mm off the back face of the balancer hub (the side mating onto the crank washer) to achieve the same offset as the OEM balancer.
